Join David Kasper, chef at Aspire at Belmont Bay, each month as he creates new and exciting menus for The Tavern at Belmont Bay and our full-service restaurant, The Belmont Grille. He will be hosting cooking demonstrations via Zoom, featuring new and exciting items that will be on the restaurant menus. The first cooking adventure is Penne Puttanesca. The story behind Puttanesca sauce is that it’s a traditional sauce made by the ladies of the evening! It looks as though it takes a long time to make but can be prepared quickly and with just a few ingredients. One of the great things about this versatile dish is that by changing the pasta to your favorite vegetable noodle you now have a vegetarian dish that tastes great and looks like it took hours to make!
